Senior Lead Software Engineer

**Lead Software Engineer (m/f/d)** Green Habitat GmbH, based in Linz, Austria, develops digital solutions for businesses. As a lead software engineer, you will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into viable technical solutions. You will lead the application architecture in the cloud environment and work with development teams to implement the design. This will involve detailed design and implementation, and ensuring the developed solution meets both functional and quality requirements (e.g., security and performance). You will also evaluate and recommend appropriate tools and technologies based on business and technical needs and constraints. **You should demonstrate experience in** 1. Leading cloud design on AWS, including network architecture, IAM policies, and service deployment models 2. Containerisation and serverless technologies (i.e. Docker, k8s) 3. API Gateway and Service Mesh (e.g. KONG, ISTIO) 4. Programming with at least one modern programming language (preferably Python) 5. Creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation, system diagrams, and architectural roadmaps. 6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into viable technical solutions. 7. Working with the Development and DevOps team to ensure effective and high-quality implementation of high-level designs. **It would also be beneficial if you had** - Experience with authentication and authorisation & RBAC model - Design and implement security controls in a cloud native solution in one of the major public cloud platforms - Threat Modelling and the relevant frameworks(e.g. STRIDE) - Professional certifications in AWS or Azure (e.g. AWS Certified Solution Architect) - Degree in computer science or related field **What we offer** - Attractive salary of approx.
