Lead Software Engineer

A Lead Embedded Software Engineer is sought by this expanding in-memory computing developer to be based at their HQ in Zürich. Working in a software / hardware co-design environment, the Lead Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for leading a small team tasked with the development of software at microcontroller / bare-metal level and multi-platform software and toolchains (compiler paths, SDK’s, code generation) under Linux (kernel / drivers) and RTOS in C and C++. The Lead Embedded Software Engineer will be delivering energy efficient software targeting power restricted, in memory computing applications. After completing your technical education, you will have gained post graduate experience leading small teams and developing embedded Linux and driver / kernel level software or writing toolchain / compiler software. You will have excellent C and C++ skills and any experience with Linux Driver Development, DirectX, LLVM /MLIR or OpenCL will be beneficial as would some experience with Tensorflow/Pytorch. Experience of working closely with hardware teams would also be a plus. Candidates need to be fully authorised to work in the EU and Switzerland.
