Result of Service
- Substantive input provided to the development of project proposals, including for fundraising purposes to ensure continuity and sustainability of results achieved under the project 'STRIVE Juvenile: Preventing and Responding to Violence against Children by Terrorist and Violent Extremist Groups'.
- A range of materials developed – incorporating specialised knowledge on child recruitment and exploitation by terrorist groups and with a focus on national contexts - through which the achievements of the project 'STRIVE Juvenile: Preventing and Responding to Violence against Children by Terrorist and Violent Extremist Groups' can be disseminated.
- Monitoring and evaluation for the project 'STRIVE Juvenile: Preventing and Responding to Violence against Children by Terrorist and Violent Extremist Groups' coordinated, including compilation of achievements and lessons learned.
- Substantive knowledge and expertise on child recruitment and exploitation applied to the development of a range of materials in relation to online targeting of children by armed and criminal groups, including terrorist groups in South and South-East Asia.
- Substantive and organizational input provided to the establishment of a network for coordination of responses to children associated with terrorist groups.
- A range of materials developed – incorporating specialised knowledge on child recruitment and exploitation by terrorist groups and with a focus on national contexts - through which the achievements of the project 'Protecting Children from Violence in Contexts of Insecurity' can be disseminated.
- A review of promising practices in engagement of local Iraqi communities conducted to support the reintegration of children and young people returned from Syria with perceived association to Da'esh, including those who have been deprived of their liberty.
- An analysis of relevant funding opportunities (public and private sector) conducted to support mobilization of funds for UNODC's implementation of Strategy to End Violence Against Children 2023-2030.
- A range of materials developed – incorporating specialised knowledge on child recruitment and exploitation by terrorist groups and with a focus on national contexts - through which the achievements of UNODC in Iraq can be disseminated.
