Financial Accountant – Reporting & GL Accounting (H/F/X)

We are looking for a Financial Accountant – Reporting & GL Accounting (H/F/X), for our client, an international company in Geneva, Switzerland, to join its financial department for a permanent role: Mission • You manage monthly and annual closings, handling all related general ledger operations, reconciliations, provisions, and accruals. • You ensure accurate and timely production of financial statements, in line with international (IFRS) and local accounting standards. • You coordinate internal and external audit processes, serving as a key contact for auditors and ensuring audit readiness. • You contribute to financial planning through budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support management decisions. • You collaborate with various departments and international teams to align and streamline financial processes. • You actively participate in ongoing improvements of financial systems and processes to enhance reporting efficiency. Profile • You hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and a recognized certification such as Swiss CPA or ACCA is a plus. • You bring proven experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting within an international or complex corporate environment. • You demonstrate strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP, with the ability to navigate and interpret evolving standards. • You are proficient in using ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics, and comfortable working in a digital finance environment. • You are fluent in both French and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills. • You are detail-oriented, autonomous, and analytical, with a team-oriented and proactive attitude.
