For one of our client - **well-known Swiss Bank** - we are currently looking for **Data Engineer Mainframe Db2 z/OS DBA.** **Information about the postion:** **Start** : ASAP **End** : 30.11.2026 (Temp role via Hays) **Workload** : 80-100% **Location** : Bellinzona, TI (100% on-site) **Tasks:** - Support Db2 Environments. - Integrate external vendor products and interfaces into the Mainframe landscape. - Establish recovery routines for infrastructure and business data using products suites from IBM and BMC. - Assist and advise database object design to business applications. - Design models and templates to provide best practices in data migration efforts. - Review logical models and provide physical database designs in support of Business initiatives. - Database object installations across all application landscapes (Development, QA, Production). - SQL performance reviews and approvals for all application release packages utilizing Changeman Approvals line-item sign-off. - Incident and Problem Management related to Db2 usage for Business applications and Operations. - Identify and introduce new Db2 functions to Business applications for possible integration into their respective mainframe software environments. - Support the implementation of Db2 Certificate-based security for technical accounts connecting to Db2 environments (QA and Production). - Implement and support ESL Data layer components such as SQLJ Java Stored Procedures within Changeman SCM. - Assist TDM (Test Data Management) team in populating QA environments with obfuscated data. - Db2 support for Content Manager (IBM Document Management System) and assist in regular software updates. **Requirements:** - **Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience connected to Mainframe DB2** - **Db2 for z/OS** V11 thru v13 - **COBOL** Db2 programming interfaces - **Languages: Italian (min. professional working proficiency) and English (min. professional working proficiency)** - IBM Utilities Suite: Image Copies, Reorgs, Runstats, Load, Unload - BMC Utilities and Toolsets: Image Copies, Reorgs, Runstats, Load,Unload - CATALOG MANAGER for Db2 - Execute DDL or query Db2 Catalog - CHANGE MANAGER for Db2 - Manage changes to Db2 objects/structures - DASD MANAGER for Db2 - Manage or monitor Db2 physical object - RECOVERY MANAGER for Db2 - CHANGE ACCUM for Db2 - LOG MASTER for Db2 - SYSTEM and SQL PERFORMANCE for Db2 - MAINVIEW Db2 - SQL Knowledge and Performance Tuning - Db2 PSQL Native Stored Procedures - IBM z/OS - TSO - IBM JCL We are waiting for your application!
