The hotel is ideal for meetings and events with its newly renovated event facilities, including a grand historic ballroom. **About the job** Based at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich within the Culinary Department in Zurich, the Banquet Sous Chef is responsible for state-of-the-art culinary experiences. The Banquet Sous Chef reports to the Banquet Head Chef. **As Banquet Sous Chef you will be responsible for the following tasks:** - Working under the guidance of the Banquet Head Chef, be able to organize the team and workflow to execute the menu dishes according to the recipes and user guides in a high volume atmosphere for our guests. - Lead and drive the team to maintain the highest level of productivity and efficiency in overall food preparation in the F&B outlets plus in-room dining. - Be able to project and procure the adequate amount of products and prepare in timely manner. - Demonstrate the ultimate level of food safety, understanding HACCP principles, possess the highest personal hygiene. **As Banquet Sous Chef, we expect from you:** - Globally-recognized culinary qualification. - Menu planning and recipes knowledge - Fine dining knowledge and experience for at least 5 years - Excellent leadership skills and able to motivate the team to deliver exceptional quality - Speak, read and communicate in a good level of German and English - Must be of smart appearance with excellent personal hygiene standards - Very good Food & Beverage knowledge - Very good kitchen organisation experience Quelle: https://indeed.com/viewjob?jk=8746cf570b54f072
